  • Local Produce Available - Our produce section includes seasonal items from Hunts Brook Farm (Waterford), Maggie’s Farm (Franklin), and FRESH New London (New London).

    Adam Campos is showing his artistic photography in the exhibition space at Fiddleheads. Adam graduated from Connecticut College in 2009 with a major in Biology and Environmental Studies and decided to stay in the New London area. Besides doing his photography business he works at Bean & Leaf and the Dual Language Academy.

  • Fiddleheads offers an annual College Student Membership for $25 per year. This membership fee can be applied towards a regular lifetime membership.

Farmers Market

Fiddleheads Food Coop hosts a Farmer’s Market each and every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 13 Broad St., New London, CT.

The following vendors are planning to be part of the next Farmers Market:
  • Bread and Cookies - Home Style Breads, Cookies and Desserts
  • Four Mile River Farm - Beef and Pork Products*
  • Lazizah - Middle Eastern Baked Goods. Herbs, Hummus, Baba, and Tabouli
  • Maria's Kountry Kitchen - Pies, Crafts, Pickles, Preserves
  • Perennial Harmony - Plants, Wreaths, and Green Gift Items
  • Purity Farms - Apples, Veggies and Preserves

* Four Mile River Farm beef and pork products and Maria's cookies, preserves and pickles are always available when Fiddleheads is open.

Additionally we have Bean and Leaf Coffee by the Cup.

The next Board of Directors meeting is Tuesday, September 21st, 7:30 p.m., at CCi, Inc. (190 Broad St., New London). Board Meetings are open to all members.

We promote healthier life choices in a service-friendly atmosphere where members are a valued and essential part of our success. Fiddleheads strives to educate our members and patrons about the benefits of organic and whole foods as well as creating a closer connection to food sources. We are committed to strengthening our community through education, social outreach programs, and food bank donations. We honor the earth by supporting and promoting environmentally responsible products, business practices and sustainable agriculture. Our store is located in New London, Connecticut at 13 Broad Street, adjacent to the corner of Huntington Street and Governor Winthrop Blvd.

Fiddleheads Natural Foods Cooperative is 100% Member owned. All are welcome to join us as a co-op Member-Owner! We have over 885 Founding Member-Owners. The Member-Owner equity share is $175, and a payment plan is available. There are many benefits that will be available to members, and we strongly encourage all in our community to join!
